  • A technician came out to my house yesterday and baited for ants. I am still seeing ants today. Why is that?

Baiting is not an instant fix. The bait will bring the ants out. When they come in contact with the bait they will take it back and eliminate the colony. You will see activity get worse before it gets better. This process usually takes 7-10 days.

  • How long does it take to get treatment after the initial inspection?

We try to schedule the first treatment 24-48 hours after the inspection.

  • How did I get bed bugs?

Bed bugs are hitchhikers meaning someone would have had to bring them in from an outside source (ex. Friends house, public place)

  • Do bed bugs fly?

    No bed bugs cannot fly

  • When are termites most common?

Termites can be a year round problem; however, there is an increase during the warm weather.

  • What is the difference between Termite Swarmers and flying ants?

Both species have four wings, the termite wings are all the same size and the ant wings have noticeably larger wings in the front as compared to the hind pair. Ant wings do not break off easily. Termite wings break off easily, with just a touch. You may see the broken wings from the swarming termites in an area they have been crawling.

    Also:

    • Termites have an almost straight antennae, the ants antennae are not.
    • Termite wings are twice as long as the body.
    • Ants appear distinctly segmented body. Termites have a full non segmented body
